I have a 1997 ford taurus gl that has the manual headlight control (when you have to turn the lights on manually) and i noticed some models have autolamp. Is there a possibility you can swap out a manual headlight control to an autolamp one? If you can does it require extra wiring? Thanks for your answers.|||It would require a dash harness, as there is a light sensor involved in the circuit as well. But there are Ford kits, as well as aftermarket kits, to do this much more easily and cheaply.
The Ford kit takes about 20 minutes to install, and works well.|||Yes you can It might take a little time , You will have to replace the switch and maybe the harness and the eye censer that goes on dash , hope this helps.
