What is the release date of the Ford Fiesta in North America?

I've been looking around for the release date for the Ford Fiesta in the US and Canada. All I can find is they are using a "2011" model designation, but claim arrival in "early 2010". I've driven this Fiesta model in Europe and it's incredible to drive, cheap to run and the European ones were decent quality. If Ford can get one out in time then I'm buying one!|||Early 2010. Thats all they're saying.
