Where can I find a where the starter of Ford is located?

My BF 83 year old Ford truck won't start and its not the battery. Of course he is out of town, but he told me its probably the starter. He said sometimes he has to get under the truck and bang on it while someone tries to start it. He said its on the right side, but theres alot of stuff on the front-right side!|||If you can find the flywheel or the flex-plate you should be there.

I suggest you have someone else find it and pound on it while you try to start it.|||it should be on the same side the battery is on, back by the bell housing.|||there is a large cable going down from the fender that is connected to the starter, simply follow this cable. the cable is likely connected on the other end to a switch that looks like a tiny can with a large cable on both sides bolted to it and 2 small wire (or one) on the front of the can. this can in about the size of a shot glass.|||83 year old truck! Wow that thing must be rare! that would be alike a 1925 model. lol

just follow the hot wire (+) off the battery It should lead to a small box on the fender, with another large wire coming off it, follow that wire and you will find the starter.
