How do I check the transmission fluid in a 1994 Ford Probe?

How do I check the transmission fluid in a 1994 Ford Probe?|||Check at the end of the trans (on the driver's side of the car) on the inside of the engine compartment there should be a dipstick for the transmission. Make sure the engine is idling while you check it.|||Is the trans an automatic or a manual?

An automatic will have a dip stick, a manual will have a drain plug and a fill plug. If it's a manual, you check the level of the fluid at the fill plug.|||with your car warmed up and the transmission in neutral, pull your dipstick tube and see where your level is. It will say" full, or add a quart."|||if you dont see dip stick easy to go to any shop or parts store and ask where or how to check it anyone woul dbe glad to point and show you how to check your cars fluids|||1 engin oil and transmission fluid are NOT the same...geeze

2 look for dipstick

3 cant find it ..try auto parts store...or better ford dealer...they live to serve..|||with the car at idle in park pull the transmission dipstick and it should be covering the second whole or fill line on the stick
