How do I Remove the roof headlining on my ford escort wagon?

I want to take the luggage rack off my 93 Ford Escort Wagon. Someone said I need to remove the roof headling to get at the bolts. How do I remove the roof headling?|||To remove the rack you first have to remove all the inside door trim on every door, including the rear hatch. This will loosen the edges of the headliner near the doors. The A pillar and B pillar inside trim will also have to be removed. The sun visors will have to be removed along with the upper windshield trim. Once the headliner is out of the way you will see the nuts holding the rack in place. Be cautious with the long pieces that run from front to back. They are also attached with a very stiff glue and will snap in two very easily. Best to get one end started then run a stiff wire, like a guitar string under the piece to cut the glue loose. Clean out all the old glue before reinstalling the rack. Do not try to reuse it.
